Jetty Facilities

There are 2 jetties that provide loading and unloading services for commodities. A 3rd state of the art jetty is being planned to serve additional demands. We have installed 3 computerised weigh bridges for weighment of the cargo having capacity of 50 Tons each. Both the jetties have the capacity of loading Iron Ore into the barges at the rate of +30000 tons per day.

The screening plant has 2 streams, dry and wet for benefaction with the capacity of 250 MT/Hour per stream. The benefaction process involves washing in classifier and then processing through the hydro-cyclones and magnetic separator. The oversize ore is diverted to crusher for crushing into fines and further screening.

The Group has big ore stacking plots at river side with stacking capacity of more than 2.00 million tons. The two big river jetties on the banks of river Mandovi where barges are loaded for further movement to Panaji/Mormugao port for exports.
