DBB Group is involved in mining, processing, logistics and exports of iron ore since 1952. DBB Group has had mining leases in North Goa at Velguem and at Usgao and one in South Goa at Neturlim. The Group has produced different grades of ore: Medium grade, Low grade and Siliceous Iron Ore.

However, since 2012 the mining operations have been suspended after the leases were cancelled.
